The Power of LinkedIn
On Tuesday January 25, 2012, at our regular Platinum Control training session, our marketing manager Butch Hamilton digressed a bit and gave us some incredible training on the SEO power you have at your disposal when you create a LinkedIn account, and especially when you set up keyword-specific groups.
I was amazed to find out that LinkedIn domain has an Alexa ranking of 14. Wow! Talk about promotional power! With a low ranking like that, any links you place out to your websites are going to be highly regarded by the search engines. I highly recommend that you look seriously at LinkedIn if you are not a member yet.
There was a small group in attendance, and together we explored the details of setting up a LinkedIn account, how to set up and manage groups, and how to use those groups very strategically to get high search engine rankings on your chosen keyword phrases.
