Learn Creative Writing For The Internet
Today in this ongoing series about creative writing for the internet, let’s talk about how to learn to write creatively.
If you do a Google search for creative writing, you will find lots of online courses, some free, that will teach you to be a creative writer. All of these are deisigned for authors who wish to produce novels, short stories, poems and the like. While these may be of some use to us as internet authors, we need a little more direction.
Our job as business creative writers is to produce quality, keyword-relevant content that informs, teaches and mentors. This requires a different mindset from those authors who wish to produce novels and short stories. In exploring the results of my Google search, I was unable to find any existing programs to teach this sort of writing. Of course, my search was not exhaustive – there may be such programs available. But you get the point.
So what’s a person to do? Well, it is precisely for this reason that Butch Hamilton, Director of Marketing for Veretekk, and an acknowledged SEO expert, has launched his multi-week program to teach us exactly that – how to write creatively for the internet.
